Ubuntu Introduction

Most of you have used derivative of linux . wonder how?? Android is also based on linux so infact you have used linux. Ubuntu is also one of the derivate of linux ( you can say it a cousin of android)
It is Free and opensource Operating system Almost all of the super computer have linux installed on them.

Ubuntu is a user friendly Operating system. in the begning you will face some problems in the same way when you change Apple Iphone and buy android smartphone ( Samsung etc) but within few days you starts to love ur new smartphone same will be the case with ubuntu

Some good points
1- it is almost virus free (Although Antivirus programm are available but mostly you don't need it)
2- it does not slow down within weeks like windows
3- almost all softwares are free for persnal use
4- does not freezes like windows does more than twice daily
5-almost all windows softwares are available ot their alike alteratives are available
6- tons are community helpers are there to help you @http://askubuntu.com/

The only 2 bad aspects
1- first few days you will face difficulty in use (same like new smart phone)
2- at first time of installation you will have to copy all your data bcz it will creat entire hard drives (this problem can be overcome by installing it along side windows at system starts it will ask whether to run windows or ubuntu it is called dual boot)

Syetem requirements

  • 2 GHz dual core processor or better
  • 2 GB system memory
  • 25 GB of free hard drive space
  • Either a DVD drive or a USB port for the installer media
  • Internet access is helpful
you can Download it free of cost from Here

Download iso file and then use yumi-multiboot-usb-creator (FOR WINDOWS)
to creat bootable usb (just like windows CD/DVD) in a 4GB usb
now restart your system and then choose try ubuntu without instllation  As explained Here
and give it a try without installation :)
if you like it only then install it ( installation procedure will be explained very soon)
